Great stay in good location
We stayed here for 3 nights and have to say the hotel staff and services were great. Location is perfect and all attractions are easily accessible via tube or bus. Beds and pillows are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The rooms are well appointed and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Now the things that need improving: whilst this is a 4* hotel it is clearly in need of a make over. The carpets and furnishings are in need of replacing. In our room the carpet had a large wet patch that didn’t dry out whilst we were there. Tbf they offered to move us but as we’re only there for a few days it seemed too much hassle, so we just avoided the patch. The net curtains were grey and desperately needed washing, if not changing. Whilst everything was clean enough there was room for improvement. Ultimately I would stay here again as it was good value but the staff were what made it a good hotel.

The Peninsular Excelsior met all my expectations for my 3 day stay in Singapore. Best of all was being in a club room which gave us access to the club lounge for breakfast, evening drinks snd canapes. The club room staff were excellent - Sheila, Aya and Patrick. Room views of the Matina, Clatke Quay and the city. Value for money and a great stay

I wouldn't go there again. Expedia advertised this as a deluxe room - the shower cubicle was small and there was nothing deluxe about it. The room was meant to be non-smoking, the odour inside the room was horrible. Staff were friendly.
