Outstanding Service
Right from the minute we arrived we were made to feel welcome. We paid to upgrade to Executive Club and it was worth every cent. On getting to the room there was a complimentary bottle of wine, some fruit and a very nice, handwritten note welcoming us. The room was spotlessly clean. Big screen TV accepted my external hard drive so I could watch my own movies. A good size bath and separate shower, with very hot water. Executive Lounge has a dress code, and a lower age limit, which is very good to see in hotels. The breakfast buffet and evening tea is well worth the extra. Dinner in the Tuxedo Cafe was excellent value for money. To be honest, I’ve stayed in many hotels in Singapore, but this is the best one, so far. Definitely our ‘go to’ hotel for future trips.

Well located hotel but left dissatisfied
We spent three nights in the hotel. We checked in late. When we tried to have a cup of tea, We found only one English tea bag and three green tea bags. We had to share the tea bag. Only one creamer. The amenities were were less than adequate leaving us with the impression the hotel was trying to provide us with as little as possible. One very small bottle for 2 people of shower gel and shampoo - conditioner was inadequate as the was the one ply toilet paper. The ceiling in the shower recess had a lot mold. The hot water in the sink had very low pressure and it took too long for water to arrive. The carpet could have been better vacuumed. All in all we felt that the hotel appeared to be trying to make as much money from us as possible without concern for our enjoyment of our stay. We would not stay again. Otherwise the hotel was well located.
