Fantastic June Stay at Northlees Farm
We loved every minute we spent with Jean and Andy. They are a lovely couple with a fantastic family. Our stay started with delicious cookies and tea in Jean’s kitchen over looking her bird feeders. We throughly enjoyed our over night stay because the beds were comfortable and our room was very clean. Andy allowed me to feed the pet lambs which was a lot of fun. The next morning Jean cooked us a delicious breakfast of ham, sausage, an egg, tomatoes and mushrooms along with our choice of tea or coffee. It was the best breakfast we had in Scotland. The icing on the cake was when Jean gave me a tour of her garden house filled with lovely baskets, materials for Jean’d floral arrangements she uses in wedding flowers; and materials for floral classes she teaches. We hung on Andy’s every word about local farming practices and learned so much. We would love to visit them again and highly recommend them. As we left, we were greeted with drop your jaw gorgeous views over looking the valley and river below!

Rural adventure
In this B&B you are not only living in a family home with the family, you are also staying in a working farm. You will be able to see sheep, horses, many birds and sheep dogs.....and here the cockerel in the morning! Very friendly and welcoming in rural Perthshire. Take a few moments to admire the view down to the river Tay.

Farm stay
Took my grandsons to stay on a farm. They were happy with sheep, horses and goats to look at. Great views as high up on the hill side. Went walking in the forest where the boys were happy climbing trees.

2/10 Poor

One night stay. Not a good place. Room very smal
Poor room. Small and badley furnished. Shower terrible! Could hear the family through the walls. No room for even 1 case. Uncomfortable beds. Would not reccommend this accommodation to anyone. Don't know how they get away with it! Very poor.

Very pleasant!! Jean & Andy were excellent hosts!
We had a fantastic experience! The view from their property is breathtaking and they recommended a pub not far from their home for dinner the night we arrived. It was delicious and we returned the next evening as well. Both days Gene and ENT gave us wonderful recommendations about things to see and places to visit in the area. We appreciate it these recommendations and had a wonderful time!

Delightful family farm B&B convenient to Fife
We were so happy here:) The couple who own the farm and their family made us feel quite at home and our stay at Northlees Farm was a highlight of our trip in Scotland! Staying in someone's home seems like the very best way to get to know Scottish people, customs, home-style cooking, and culture. Beautiful views and convenient to Edinburgh, Perth, Fife and St. Andrews. Walking trails toward Perth lie just behind the farm. Beautiful landscape, flowers, friendly animals, and well-fed birds who frequent the back yard feeders. Quaint, comfortable, and homey. Not for the luxury-seeking tourist but perfect for us. We had a wonderful experience.
