Prior to our arrival Miss Patsy called to both verify our arrival time and check to see if we would enjoy some tea and cake. Tea. Cake. Breakfast made to order. I have read about southern hospitality, but as a native Californian it is always a delight to experience it firsthand. Both Patsy and her husband Dennis are friendly folks who like to get to know their visitors. Miss Patsy is the one who actively manages the B&B and her philosophical approach to the business makes this a wonderful place to stay beyond the delicious food. As you see in the pictures, each room is devoted to different Country Music legends and decorated with collected items related to that legend. The rooms are large, accommodating and very quiet - we never heard the guest in the room next to us. The house has many amenities available for guests to use that make this a great place to stay for individuals, families, or groups. The grounds are large, allowing for either quiet reflection or a gathering. While the house itself is contemporary with modern amenities, a stay here is a step back to a slower time when friends gathered on porches in the afternoon to sip tea and discuss life.
