The staff was amazing. Our room was clean and just what we needed for a quick overnight stay. The price was beyond, beyond reasonable! They have worked hard to update the property and make it cute. The motel location is kind of teetering on the edge of a place I would feel safe or not, but the hotel staff made up for my concerns.

This was an old hotel that had been obviously updated. The room was very clean and the decor very pleasing. Unfortunately the walls between rooms had not been updated and we could hear our neighbours next to us and upstairs from us very very easily. The location was good with respect to Fremont Street, however there were nightclubs just behind us that had head banging music until 4 am. This would’ve been useful to know. The minigolf area indoor was a lot of fun and there is a bar on site as well. I don’t know that I would stay here again due to the noise issues interrupting sleep.

The Downtowner is a great option for those who want to be close to Fremont area. This cozy and unassuming hotel is perfect for anyone who is down to earth. There is no pool but a nice miniature golf course. Parking is available at a separate location half a block away. We felt safe in the day and evening. I do think that they should invest in vacuuming the hallways in the second floor. They seemed very unkept and messing. There is only ice machine on the first floor. Overall, a nice quaint location that offers many food options, coffee spots, bars etc. Friendly staff, especially Lesly who was very accommodating. Until next time Vegas!

Look you get what you pay for! Yes the property is clean but there is a stench in the room like no other. The baseboards look like they are rotting away. The mattresses are worn out and just the overall vibe doesn't feel safe in the area it's located. Parking is located across the street, unattended, and looks unsafe. There is a bar inside the establishment that's open 24/7 so that might catch your fancy. There is also miniature gulfing inside the lobby, if that's what you want to do. We checked in and 30 minutes later we checked right back out! Paul was super nice upon arrival and departure. So the staff is not the issue here! The overall upkeep of the property needs a major overhaul.

Pros- bed was nice. Coffee at the desk. Ice machine. Cons- parking was across the street so you have to haul all your luggage across the street and then up stairs. There's no elevator. No microwave or refrigerator. The worst part was the floor in the room was dirty. I walk around without shoes and my feet got dirty....which means they don't know how to mop a tiny floor. I think that is disgusting.

The “carpet” in the hallway was putting green, which I can’t help but consider can’t be cleaned with a standard vacuum. The white shower curtain was dark yellow at the bottom seam and the fan in the bathroom prevents it from staying outside of the shower. There’s also artificial turf on one of the walls (not pictured anywhere). Popcorn ceilings, poor quality tv, slow wifi, and the bed moves at every movement. Also in a really poor, dirty neighborhood. AC is loud and was incredibly dated (many of the buttons don’t work and were missing their plastic). The staff was friendly and helpful. There is free parking with a parking pass they give you. The shower water’s hot with great water pressure. No bedbugs nor visible insect activity inside the room, but we left early. It just wasn’t comfortable.

We liked how they had a central air system in the room. Very simple. Couldn’t get much closer to Hi, Lo, Cool, Hot than this place. Very bare bones, only had a thin sheet for warmth, but we travel with our own comforters so not a big deal. but minimalism is IN now. NO cable tv, only OTA so the channel guide in the room was worthless. Check in was kindve a hassle, as it was a self check in, but why have a front desk person if they can’t check you in. Interacting with them was so enjoyable. They were friendly, warm and welcoming. It rocked. And then in the morning coffee was hot and fresh. Could’ve used a small breakfast nook, or donuts, but good food is a block away. The ONLY thing that bothered me, was the smell of the cleaning products they used. It smelled like the floors in an establishment of ill repute. But maybe that’s part of the Vegas charm. Use lavender Pine Sol people. Smells better. Other than that, we will definitely be returning, if only just to stay there again.

My group of 4 had a lovely stay at this hotel. The room is small but the layout is thoughtful, with a separate closet/changing area, a vanity with a chair that fits completely underneath it for more space, and the sink outside of the shower/toilet, making it easier for multiple ppl to share the same space. Staff was also extremely friendly and helpful, and even when we were coming back to our rooms at 7 in the morning, they always had a smile and bright greeting to share. The grounds were lovely. It's a mini golf couse but most times it wasn't being used, and instead was a good space to eat outside. Because the motel has gated walls it shielded us from much of the wind and provided a lot of shade to eat comfortably outside. The location is also great- Las Vegas is not known for its walkability so it was nice that the motel is located within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and a 24-hr Walgreens. The free parking was also a huge help. The only downside (and this is probably because we were a ground-level room) is we had a lot of rolly-polly bugs in the bathroom area that were a bit of a nuisance. But they're harmless and no actual pests were noted during our stay. Also note early check in does cost extra. But the motel let us park our car early (since it was only 30 min before regular check in time) and we explored the neighborhood in the meantime

Staff was super friendly. 24 hour bar is a really nice touch and the option to play mini golf is so cool. Only complaints are that there wasn’t a fridge in the room. I don’t know if that’s for all of the rooms but in mine there there was not. Also the bathroom was just a little bit smaller than I would have hoped and there wasn’t a full length mirror. Otherwise I’d definitely stay again
