A wee gem
Cosy room with everything we needed. Appreciated the offer of fresh milk for tea/ coffee in the room. Lovely, friendly staff and nice breakfast. Only negative was early last order for evening meal.

Our room was not very clean: hair and stains in multiple places. We would not stay again.

2/10 Poor

Very poor service. Arrived at 22.30 to be told they had given our room away and we had nowhere to stay.. tried to blame us for being late however checkin time is stated as 15:00-23:30. When I showed them the email they then changed stories to the staff having missed the booking. The guy dealing with it at first promised a room in another hotel and a bottle of champagne as it was the first night or our honeymoon and their fault. The lady took over and got us a room in a cheaper hotel but no apology or champagne?? On the bright side we loved the hotel we ended up staying in. The winnock hotel across the road from the drymen inn.. highly recommend staying at the Winnock hotel!

Drymen Inn was a comfortable little place to visit, with friendly staff and a range of food options for breakfast. Unfortunately they ran out of hot water so we had to use another room's bathroom to take a shower, both at night and the next morning. Otherwise the stay was pleasant.

Great spot for the night!
This was a cute little place for an overnight stay on our trek through Scotland. The room is quite small but its perfect for just a night or two. The bar downstairs was great and seemed to be the local watering hole. We had a few beers the night we checked in and there are comfortable sofas near a fireplace that we enjoyed. Everyone was super nice and very accommodating. When you arrive, notify the bartender that you would like to check-in haha. We thought that was a bit odd but made for a good laugh. Price was great especially since it included breakfast which was quite good.

Avoid at all cost
Arrived at the drymen inn after walking the whole day, at first glance it looked nice but when we were shown our room we were really disappointed with one thing after another. Grubby walls, carpet, the only place to put things on was the window sill next to the sub standard drinks tray which only had one cheap teabag each and no milk. The hinge was coming off the bathroom door and the handle to the room was coming off too. Very irritating also that there was no bathmat or phone connected to reception, had to go down myself each time for things, also annoying. The response by the supervisor was that they are not 5 stars and are only "an inn". The owner and chef was obnoxious and hot headed and his attitude was shocking basically saying what do you want for the price! Well id like to sleep but couldnt because of the excessant noise from downstairs. Heavily disappointed with this venue.

Nice pub/hotel close to Loch Lomond
Pleasant overnight stay while attending a friend’s 60th birthday party in a nearby village. The room was clean but a little on the small size. We only used the room as a place to lay our heads so it is difficult to comment on the rest of the amenities. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only slight issue was a Karaoke on the Saturday night that went on into the early hours, it was just unfortunate that our room was directly above the bar area.

Great base to explore from
Friendly little pub in a small village maybe 10 mins drive from Loch Lomond. The pub is grand, comfy room, good breakfast, and free parking in the public car park across the road. There's another pub just down the road anda Spar shop opposite, as well as a few other village facilities, so it's a great base.
