The landscaping, amenities, and buildings were very well-maintained. I was given a tour when I first checked in, which was very nice, though my phone in the room and the AC remote did not work properly. The bed was a bit firm for my taste but I have to say, that when I brought up these items to the attention of management, they responded very very quickly. That same afternoon, they gave me a new phone, several pillows to cushion the mattress, brought me new AC remote and a case of water when I only asked for two or three bottles a day. Again, management and guest services response was very quick and followed up with me regularly.

The food was subpar in the beginning of the trip. There were no cones on the floor to instruct a wet floor so I slipped and scraped my elbow. Shady activities not sponsored by the resort were offered. There was a man that informe my group and I that he would “take care of things for us” but that “we shouldn’t tell the management staff about it.” Didn’t seem legitimate. The furniture is old and seems to have been taken from an office building as many resemble metal file cabinets. Toilet didn’t flush and power went out frequently. This hotel was probably not ready to open. Will not return, but it was a learning experience. The food at select restaurants were ok and staff was ok as well.

The property from the outside was amazing but the rooms were horrible. They smelled of mold and mildew, the appliances didn’t work, the toilet doesn’t flush well.
