Accommodations not really at a "lodge" level
This is more of a guest house than a lodge. Accommodations are basic, which is why the label of "lodge" is perhaps a little misleading.
Like many things in Zimbabwe, this place has several things that are broken, which didn't make it an awful stay, but when added up, they detract from the overall quality of the establishment. For example, the door on the shower stall did not shut all the way, and we had to ask for more bath towels for our family.
Breakfast was included, but it's provided in a strange way. The breakfast includes cold and hot courses (plus drinks, like coffee and the Zimbabwe version of fruit juice). Your egg order will be taken when you arrive in the breakfast area and serve yourself with cold breakfast items (cereal, yogurt, etc.), but they won't tell you that the hot course will automatically come with all the other parts of a full English breakfast. It's cooked to order for each guest, and if you don't want all of those servings of beans, sausage, bacon, etc., you'll feel like you're wasting food.
