The history in this hotel is amazing! There is information posted about it's beginnings and the staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. I saw the Aurora for the first time there! If you have a chance, stay there! The views can't be beat.

10/10 Exceptional

Although the temps soared to the high 80s in Glacier National Park during the days, the evenings were cooler and there was a fan to move the still air in our room. The quaint old hotel was the first built by the railroad to transport guests from the east to the new national park and it is still a perfect accommodation, even without TV and A/C!
Carolyn, 2-night trip

Beautiful historic lodge
I loved this charming rustic lodge. It had everything we needed there. There were mountain views and yard games to play. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. At check in Kathy was very nice and Adam the bellhop was super helpful and kind. We would stay there again.
Annette, 1-night trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lodge. First the lodge is gorgeous. It offers places to sit and enjoy the scenery either in the lobby or outside on its expansive porches. The staff was knowledgeable on the national park.

Great stay at a one of the grande dames of the railroad era. Kitchen was too slow in getting food out
Jess, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

This is a historical experience, not a luxury spot. You can tell this place is struggling with quality management. The employees are super nice. Bathroom in rooms are less quality than county jail.
Evan, 1-night trip

Great historic lodge with tons of charm
Great historic lodge with tons of charm. One downfall the room (with a mountain view) had no mountains just road.
Kurt, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

A fantastic historical time capsule. The activist and gardens on the property were fantastic. The restaurant was amazing for dinner and breakfast. We enjoyed the common spaces and the entire lodge. What a treat. The shower was a little small and charging outlets were limited, a small inconvenience against the rest of the amazing amenities.
Kevin, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

We loved the nostalgia of the lodge and appreciated the customer service by the Bellman and the front desk. The room was very scarce , No chairs to sit on no couch and the room was large enough to accommodate it for the price that we . The space had absolutely no amenities.
