very pleasant surprise
On first glance it doesn't look like a hotel. However, it is small (11 rooms) and very boutique. The Thank you gift was a very nice gesture on our last night. A very attentive service all round. Would definitely stay again when in Rome.....

Great location, another room might be better
The location is fantastic! However, our room was directly off the lobby and you could hear everything going on out there, especially early in the morning. The beds could have been a bit more comfy and used a pillow or two more, so sleep wasn’t the best. Another thing was the awkward air conditioning which you had to access through a web browser on an Xbox and once you did it didn’t stay on very long so checking it at night was a hassle. The bathroom was nice, we would have preferred it was a little cleaner though. The staff was nice though and provided us a little treat on the last day of our 3 day stay.

Raw Sewage Stinks Up Rooms
Rooms smelled like raw sewage, human waste, and the front desk staff admitted this happens from time to time. This was not disclosed during booking process and is an unethical disclosure by hotel to not make this explicit. We changed rooms because of this and was given a smaller "extra/spare" room which also smelled like raw sewage. The solution by front desk was to give a air freshener spray and nothing else. A/C did not work and was controlled through their app. The front desk staff who was on duty did not know how to help fix the A/C or work the app so we were stuck in hot stinky room in the heat of Rome.

Highly recommend!
Hotel is local to everything and the service is great, staff friendly and helpful. Room was exactly as described on the site. Our plane had a delay and we did not arrive until 1:30am. We had emailed the hotel updating them of our situation and a staff member was on site to greet us when we arrived.

We booked this hotel last minute , it was is a great location , the room was a good size . The shower was great but no hair conditioner or body wash provided . The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast each morning which was served on time and most substantial for the busy days ahead . We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again the only small issue was the buzzing sound from the sound system but we just made sure it as completely turned off at bedtime so it wouldn’t disturb our sleep

True American size king bed, modern bath with rain shower, super staff (especially Paul) and service. As other reviews have noted, it has a bit of a quirky tech component as to room systems--lighting, A/C etc. Piece of advice: Learn how to "reset" the screen since you'll need to do that at times--at least we did on our room. Very good Breakfast in room. It'd be nice to have a public breakfast space but it's OK in the room in light of the rest of the hotel. It would be nice to have somewhat nicer bathroom amenities--for example better soap and maybe have conditioner in addition to just shampoo. Also, heads-up: the hotel does not have a traditional street entrance--when you arrive you need to ring the buzzer for the hotel at the door on the street and then take the elevator up to the 2nd floor to get into the hotel. Good WiFi.

Nice boutique hotel in Rome
Trecento is a boutique hotel. Compared to another hotel that we had stayed in in Rome, Trecento was a welcome relief. The rooms are decent size, as was the bathroom - which we really appreciated. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were a little flat but the hotel staff was more than happy to give us a second set and that helped a lot. We liked the contemporary style of the room. They have “fancy” lights in the room but it just wasn’t needed - it was gimmicky and the hotel can stand on its own without them. It’s a great location - many things nearby. The traffic on the street can be loud but it’s amazing that the windows are sound proof - once we closed them we couldn’t hear a thing. The hotel is on the second floor and has a lift but it is small and we didn’t use it - which is not a problem unless you have a lot to bring up. One suggestion though for the hotel is to have better signage above the door to enter the hotel lobby where you check in and where the rooms are located. The staff was accommodating in holding our luggage before we checked in and again after check out time.

Value for money - Interesting use of lights
Nice high tech room but a bit difficult to manage 3 remote controls doing different things. The location was perfect. The staff were very polite. Very nice shower room. I would consider this hotel as value for money
