On check-in, the "fan-only" bungalow smelled stale [as if shuttered since the turn of the century -- the 20th Century]. Thankfully, I obtained air freshener from desk. In the long run, the stale, sweet-sour, moldy smell came back to overpower the room regardless of the fan (which DID work well) on high power, and the windows opened. Apparently, the rooms humidity cannot be handled by fans alone, and may support fungal growth.
The second bed was as hard as the floor, thus unusable.
At night, several dogs barked ALL night long [one yappy dog barked every 2 seconds for an hour -- no exaggeration]. In addition, several dogs are allowed in restaurant to scrounge.
The bay was half-empty for half of the day, the main road was a long walk away over back roads (non-navigable in rain).
After falling ill, I was unable to use the environment to help restore my morale and facilitate my recovery... I checked-out a day early...forfeiting money.
