NOTE:This review is based on a $400/night Jr.Suite at a claimed 5* Accomodation.
Positives:
1) Decent property, clean, and conveniently located to Mykonos Town.
2) Good transfer to/from hotel.
3) Decent gym.
4) CIEL Spa - Good prices , service, and great massages. Very friendly staff.
Negatives:
1) Other than the front reception staff, almost all the staff are not very friendly, never smile, and don't make ANY conversation. Maybe they are not confident with their English. When they do speak, it seems FORCED; very cold and nobody is ever smiling. They dont give any recommendations, tips for enjoying the Town, etc. The only thing they know to ask is "everything ok"?
2) You are given a free bottle of water every day, but you are not allowed to take it with you to the pool and I'm not sure where else. They make you purchase water at the pool (min €5), which is anywhere from 30 seconds to a minute away from your room min. Worst of all, after spending at least €300 at the hotel (incl. Spa) during my stay, I asked for water at checkout and they charged me €2.5 for a small bottle of water. Other than a small welcome drink on arrival with very little to no alcohol in it, nothing at this claimed 5* hotel is free, you are charged for everything.
3) Upon arrival, you are offered assistance and recommendations for booking restaurants, beach clubs, etc. However, the Hotel has very little to no pull with any of the places they recommend and you are constantly told there is no space, etc.
