Anniversary trip to Ubud
At first glance the place looked great and met our expectations. However after checking in and seeing our rooms and the different facilities we were a bit disappointed. The reception staff we talked to initially was very nonchalant and we did not feel welcomed. The rooms are worn by age and it is obvious the place has seen better days. If you want a cozy, relaxing jungle visit I suggest a more modern resort. If you want more action I suggest booking something closer to Ubud as the daily shuttle service is always delayed by traffic.

This hotel is absolutely worth recommending. You find one of rhe best view overlooking the lush forest. Our room was just a few steps from the swimming pool, and the friendliest staff are always ready to assist you—for example, if you’d like a ride from your beautiful room to the restaurant. The resort features stunning decorations and an abundance of flowers around all the buildings. The restaurant is excellent, offering a great selection of à la carte dishes for both breakfast and dinner. There are plenty of activities you can sign up for at the hotel, with transportation provided/ pick up at hotel, as well as access to private guided day tours—remarkably affordable when converted to Danish kroner. A must-experience for 4-5 days when visiting Bali before heading to a beachside hotel. We visited during the rainy season, which turned out to be no issue at all.

Perhaps the best resort we've stayed at. Extremely hospitable staff. Their restaurant is amazing with great food (& Bali Coffee), service and views of the mountains. Special mention for the restaurant for prepping a breakfast box for me at 2am before the Mt Batur hike. On site spa was incredible and the overall setup of the resort is calm and serene. Highly recommend this resort!

The property is absolutely gorgeous as is the location. The service was a cut above most anything I’ve experienced. I would say the only complaint is the gym only had 1 working cardio machine and it’s good 20 minute ride to downtown Ubud. Other than that I would for sure stay there again
