I have traveled a lot and stayed in various hotels, but it was so absurd that I had to pay to change sneakers hotel provid3d when I went to the hotel gym. I also doubted whether the sneakers they were lending me were clean. It was very uncomfortable.

The good bad and ugly. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Yeosu Sono Calm hotel. We got upgraded to a large ocean view room. This was a pleasant surprise after staying at smaller rooms in Seoul. The sauna and breakfast buffet were also 5 stars! Now for the bad. The rooms are a bit dated from the Expo days. Bring extra plugs to charge your USB devices. The plumbing in the bathroom is also odd. You'll have to see for yourself. In summary Sono Calm is worth a visit with a few quirks. Enjoy!

The check in is strictly allowed after 3pm. The hotel room maintenance seems to be poor at least in my room. Moldy bathtub, cracked entrance tile floor. The AC/heating unit made some strange noise which made me wake up couple of times at night.

"I was disappointed with my stay at this 5-star hotel. The weather was already hot and humid, but the hallways were not air-conditioned, making it even more uncomfortable. The dim lighting in the hallways also added to the gloomy atmosphere. The staff did not seem to live up to the standards of a 5-star hotel, as they were not particularly friendly or welcoming. Additionally, only women were available to assist with heavy luggage. It was also inconvenient that there was no laundry facility available within the hotel."

엄마와 둘이 한 여행. 15시 체크인인데 12시 이후 방배정하였고 체크인전 짐도 보관해주었어요. 객실깨끗하고 직원도 친절하고 석식 조식 모두 맛있고 신선했어요. 다음날 11시 체크아웃이후에도 짐보관 가능해서 체크아웃후 17시까지 짐보관후 여수여행 다녔어요. 시설도 조용하고 오동도가 바라다보이는 오션뷰 15층 객실훌륭했어요

가족여행 숙소로 좋았다!

일출보기 좋은 룸 받아서 너무 편하게 쉬고 눈도 호강했어요. 베딩도 깔끔하고 편하고요, 사우나도 한적하여 여유롭고 노천탕도 최고입니다! 다만. 조식은 가격대비 쏘쏘인거 같아요…! 그리고 위치상 어쩔 수 없는 새벽 배 시동소리가 좀 납니다. 여행이라 피곤하여 비몽사몽 들었지만 새벽에 스포츠카가 지나가나~ 했네요.. 그래도 아주 신경쓰진 않았는데 소리에 예민하신분은 잘 들릴거 같고요.
