6/10 Good

The room we were allocated originally was not the room we booked and didn’t have a window or the balcony we had booked. The window looked into a stairwell which meant the room was dark. The staff said our balcony room was available the next day. Meant we had to move again. Not ideal for a 3 night stay. The roof terrace with pool, be aware the pool is very narrow and the seagulls enjoy it the most. It looked grubby upstairs, dirty ashtrays and debris-dirty napkins on the floor. Once we were moved we were a lot happier. I think all the staff were lovely and certainly did their best. I brought out dirty coffee cups down as housekeeping had only replaced our bottle of water and nothing else. I offered to take clean ones up but was told someone would. After when we returned to our room our room had been attended too along with a bill for 12 euros for 4 coffee pods. In a hotel such as les bagues I would expect better. I didn’t even ask for pods. All in all not the best experience and a shame as we flew home our beautiful home in Nice expecting a luxury experience which is wasn’t. The rooms needs some tlc too.
