Holiday Inn Express Birmingham - City Centre by IHG

Malacuna Birmingham
"As I was on business I only spent the evenings working on my iPad in the reception area. The bed was surprisingly comfortable despite seeming softer than I normally prefer. The privacy blackout blind across my bunk worked well although on section had come off the rail. The secure storage box by the bed would have been much better if it did not make a loud noise on opening and closing. As always there were not enough pegs in the bunk are and the shellf was too small to store phones and other items on charge. I felt sorry for 2 novice young lady hostelers who were shocked to find they were sharing with men. Although I will choose female only rooms if I can get them for a small premium I think that it would be great for any women who would refuse to share a dormitory with a man. Of course I appreciate the iced water available in reception. The shared bathroom was wet by previous person and there was nothing to clean up the floor."
