Ok
The room was pretty clean but poor lighting. The TV sound didn’t work. The toilet didn’t flush unless you lifted the lid and pushed the plunger down. Not enough parking available. Staff was friendly and the bed was quite comfortable. The location was good and we liked the hot tubs

Was clean and fairly comfortable. Mountain View is a bit misleading, as it’s the cut away of the mountain for a road and motel. NO view. Elevator buttons are needing replaced or worked on, very hard to push.

This is an older hotel in need of renovation. Flooring was worn, and repairs had apparently not been made. One of the exit signs on our floor was not illuminated. Our room was generally clean.

Unclean but nice view no breakfast
Check in was sapose to be 3pm we arrived at 5:35 and still had to wait on a room that wasn't done being cleaned till nearly 6pm and the fridge still had the last guest food in it there was hair in the bath tube from it not being cleaned and the continental breakfast was terrible wasn't even anything to eat hardly and if you are looking for a motel to unwind and have a drink at the bar this isn't it as there was no one to take drink orders

The carpets are not clean, bath tub was stained, hair on the bathroom floor, fridge was unplugged and had to move the tv cabinet to plug it in. Hot tubs were tepid (or even cool). Overall was not a great hotel experience. However, the staff was fine.

They would not let you check in a little early even know room was ready. Half hour early and they wanted to charge an extra $ 40.00

We stayed here last night in a room with 2 queen beds. When I pulled down the comforter I found that the sheets were stained with dark rust-coloured stains. The other bed seemed okay so we used that. The room had a stale smell. The wall air conditioner's filter had probably never been changed. I could see the layers of dust. We stayed here just long enough to get a few hours sleep.

The Hotel had a shuttle available to go to Deadwood, DS, the nearest attraction city. The shuttle took us to Deadwood at 7:30 PM for an outdoor concert and brought us back at 11:30 PM. This was super convenient.

Mini vacation
It was not a bad hotel. It's definitely old. The room we had was a double queen bed. The bathroom is extremely small. The room was clean. The breakfast was so so. With waffles biscuits and gravy just your normal stuff. The gentleman working was very friendly.

I dont know how Expedia comes up with their ratings but this is not an 8.7 property. Room had dead bugs in the bathroom, a/c filter was filthy! Room did not get serviced on 2nd day, they showed up at 7PM with towels, no soap, shampoo, etc. We had to ask them to clean up the bugs in bathroom. Could not understand any of the staff. Very broken English. When we checked in we were told no king rooms were for pets. They had doubles for pets but they were all full. Charged me $30 per night pet fee which had to be paid by cash! I would not have stayed had it not been a holiday weekend and chances of other places havi g openings was null.
We will not be relying on Expedia again.

Our room was musty smelling and the window unit air conditioner sounded like a freight train. The vent fan in the bathroom was very loud. Between the air conditioner and the fan we had a hard time even hearing the TV.
