Learn more about Pigeon Forge
Tucked between the misty ridges of the Great Smoky Mountains, this family playground buzzes with neon-lit attractions along the bustling Parkway. Dollywood steals the show with thrilling rides and authentic Appalachian crafts demonstrated by actual artisans. After hiking in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, return for dinner theatres where singing waitstaff serve up country music with your meal. The Titanic Museum rises improbably from the landscape, an exact half-scale replica complete with iceberg. Mini-golf courses compete for attention with go-kart tracks and mountain coasters. For a break from the cheerful kitsch, WonderWorks' upside-down building houses interactive science exhibits. Come winter, the town transforms into a wonderland of millions of twinkling lights.

"We have stayed at multiple properties in Pigeon Forge. This was by far the best! We were happily surprised that the rooms were cleaned daily! That is exceptional service. They offered fresh sugar cookies, popcorn and a hot breakfast. All were good and much appreciated. We were actually there when we heard the news of Dolly's passing. The entire atmosphere of Pigeon Forge changed within the hour. Thank goodness we had a quiet, clean and comfortable place to go. Thank you Inn on the River. We will be back."
