Savoy Sharm

Savoy Sharm was better than i expected. Rooms were very clean and spacious, bathrooms were clean. The hotel was decorated for christmas with beautiful lights everywhere and Christmas day on the beach was so much fun. The hotel staff completed this great stay because they were so nice and helpful. 100% would stay again.

Great location. Staff is polite helpful and courteous. Breakfast buffet is amazing.

The hotel has the reputation of luxorious 5* one, but I would say in European standards is an average 4 * hotel. They try to make it look very European and extremely luxorious and high-end hotel by the way they behave, the rules for the dress code, the security who behave as they guard the Queen Palace.At check in you have the feeling that you will enter in a Palace but after you start your stay you see that this is their way to make them look very special and justify their high prices. In the rooms, the furniture is old and the air conditioning in our room was not warming and was bringing cigarette smell from which we could not sleep all night. In our reservation it was said the mattress is Tempur, but we checked and it was local spring -matress. The internet was also not very good and you are logged out all the time. We were told we cannot use their shuttle to the airport free of charge as we did not booked the room via the hotel website-this was not indicated in our reservation. The breakfast was average, they serve very diluted filter coffee on each table which is completely undrinkable. The cappuccino I ordered was also very bad-the coffee they use for espresso is not good. Their juices pretend to be smoothies and fresh juices but they are the ones from boxes from the supermarket. Other than that the location is nice, the beach and the gardens as well. Price- wise you can find better quality for lower price in Sharm.

My reservation are sea & garden view, There is a man at the reception desk, (i dont laik named him) he told me I will give you the best rooms, he get me the bad and far away from everything, he know I am Handicapped. room # 6232-33 every thing is bad due to him.
