You get what you pay for

Well, given that it was what it was not too shabby. Still. Mostly for the young

100% Recommend

Definitely recommend if you can get under £50 a night. Really nice staff and also great people staying in nearby capsules. Capsules have great space for you and your bag and also have a good locking system for when you go out. Keycard system in place for safety to each room of capsules. Quite difficult to find but if you look nearby the local shops you should find a pair of black doors that say “Picadilly Hostel”. It’s also in google and Apple Maps under the same name. Overall great experience and great location.

Great stay

Friendly reception. Difficult to find but there sister hotel across the road gave me directions. Pod fan didn't work but the moved me to another pod. Everything clean especially the shared bathroom complex, would suggest 1 cold tap in the bathroom as i needed to take some tablets and the auto locking doors into the pod areas realy clunk when they close even if you close slowly so pods near the doors may be woken during the night.but a great experience for me being a very mature stayer.

Cramped & Noisy

Awful experience. The photos/description didn’t prepare me for how Cramped & Noisy it was. Even at such a low price it’s not worth it.

It is a “capsule”

Great location. Walking distance from the underground. Very friendly staff and clean capsule. Secure and comfortable. The hostel was hard to find. There was no sign “ Zedwell Capsule Hotel.” Once inside, navigating through the mazes and crawling into the capsule was a challenge. And not enough storage. Overall it was a novel experience.

Abandoned stay

I had to abandon my stay at 1am as the Air conditioning didn't work, making it imposisble to sleep. It is a building site still - it is not a Zedwell product so don't exepct anything like that. There pods have no security so you can leave anything in them. Bedding sheet didnt fit the mattress. Won't offer any kind of refund for having to

Worse than I expected

It started badly: the Zedwell capsules are not at the Zed Hotel, they are in another building (under construction) with the sign 'Piccadilly Hostel'. Reception is one man in the corner of a building site. No other help on site. My capsule was on 4th floor and for a while the lift was out of service. The capsules have a only simple security. The bedding was good. The bathrooms are OK. There are no other facilities. For the area the price is good, but this is no way a fun place. I've stayed in other capsules abroad which are far better. Copenhagen recently.

1 Night Capsule Stay 😴

I'll be honest, my expectations were not high, but I would have to admit, being my first stay in a hostel, I was imprest. Having your own capsule really helped the decision in booking here in the first place. Staff were helpful and friendly. Got my extra pillow and a lock for my capsule. It's quite spacious too for what it is with charge ports, fan and light control. Showers were ok too, the toilets could of done wiith a little servicing mind. I only stayed the one night, but it was quiet and I did get a good nights sleep. Mind only gripe was that finding the place was a nightmare and the main door is 'blink or you'll miss it' between a couple convenience stores However, the staff did mention the building is still undergoing work. In a nut shell... the stay was pleasant and convenient for my needs. It's not the Ritz, but it's not meant to be either. Would I stay there again, yes I would. Cheers guys 😌

I’ve paid a lot more money to get a lot less.

it’s still brand-new, so when you walk into the reception, it’s a little bit like a building site, but once you get up to the fifth floor which is Ladies only it is immaculate. It’s a little bit of a maze up there but I was really impressed by how clean the bathrooms were and how big. The capsules are stacked in a terrace formation which allows for a lot more privacy so your entranceway is really only ever looking at one other one. The bed was super comfy the pillow was comfy, everything was nice and clean inside the capsule and I really loved the mirror at the end that made it feel much more spacious. The sound dampening was excellent. I honestly don’t remember having a better or quieter night sleep in any hotel in London. The staff all really nice and friendly and welcoming too. There’s lots of storage space for luggage on the side of the capsules but if you have a small bag, you can just take it inside with you which is what I did. A small padlock so you can lock your capsule while you’re out during the day.

I am aware of the construction works presently going on, therefore am trying to be as fair as possible. Also, this is my first time in experiencing sleeping in a pod/capsule. 1 star deducted for comfort as the doors do not close quietly (I do get that they are fire doors and need to close quickly, however something to dampen the noise would be helpful). Also, regarding bathroom facilities, it seems difficult for us men in particular to be able to have a shave due to the lack of a small washbasin. Perhaps this could be rectified as the construction works progress? The full marks for eco friendliness are for being able to adjust the brightness of the light using the rotary dimmer control switch, and the PIS sensors for the lavatory cubicles enables the light to only come on when somebody enters. For those who would like to walk down the stairs rather than waiting for the lift, there could be better signage other than the mandatory fire exit signs due to the design of the staircase. My own personal belief is that when the construction works are finally completed, that the signage will be in place. The staff are friendly and help you with the online check in process and the activation of the keycard if need be.

Hostel mediano

Pontos positivo: localização e atendimento do Staff. A pior parte é a limpeza do banheiro.
