I’m an expat and every time I come home to Basel I stay here. It’s just a good old-fashioned grand hotel that has been around forever. People are super nice. It’s old world hotel business at its finest. Big rooms, nice balconies, excellent service. Plus tram in front of the door and late night shopping inside train station. It’s perfect.

Great location to the train; wonderful views; no cars allowed in the city (commercial vehicles only) and a great walking town. People are super friendly, rooms are big, bathrooms are modern, spacious and nice and some rooms have nice balconies. Also great bar and breakfast. Cheap for what it is in my opinion! Love the Euler - long time tradition! I stayed in a junior suite with balcony and a deluxe double room with balcony. Both are superb. I’m a big fan of quality pillows and bedding and they have the BEST! Tram is right in front of hotel, easy walk to old town and shopping is open late inside the train station. It’s perfect!
