Good value & worth the stay
I did enjoy it. I do feel the rooms need an overhaul - door knob difficult in my unit, some cracked paint work in the bathroom, dead insects behind the TV cabinet. Staff so helpful. Evelyn in dining was exceptional, having to do most of the work because the younger girl (Mikayla) helping really had no idea on the ordering side of things. However, she was excellent on the waitressing side of things. Check in & out ladies great. Excellent menu.

The property has enough amenities including a proper fridge. But need to have more information regarding the area. The maps are not clear enough. We went to 4wheel drive tour and got lost somepoint because information not clear enough.

We had a late Check-In. an envelope waited for us with detailed suggestions for day trips and map of the area. The Room that was given to us was very smelly with cooking smell of the previous guests. (Heavy Indian Spice smell that didn't go away even after opening all windows) we found some kids toys under one of the pillows - our first impression was not good ! we asked ourselves whether they have changed the blanket on that bed at all. We didn't have anybody to talk with (as reception is closed after-hours) and we woke up smelly and unhappy. In the morning, after addressing the issues - the receptionist gave us another room (In no time !) which was clean and in good condition - the transition was flawless. So at the end we had good time and enjoyed beautiful Wilpena pound, although there are areas which could definitely be improved with cleanliness of the rooms !

Fantastic experience in the safari tent, with AC, bathroom, comfortable bed, all amenities including a fridge, outdoor seating and super clean. Very nice pool also. The restaurant is a little expensive for the portion sizes but to be expected in such a remote location.

The accommodation is good and with all the amenities. The staff were really helpful in providing tips to explore Wilpena. The restaurant however is not worth the time or money. The meal was less than adequate or desirable.
