So so stay.
Did not realize it is under construction. Not really a big deal but for the price it was a bit much. Write up said there was a bar as well as a restaurant. There was neither. No breakfast. To be fair the clerk did say it was open on the weekend. So if you stay during the week you are out of luck. It was clean. Shower was lukewarm at best. Hopefully when construction is completed it will be better

No internet.
Everything about the cleanliness was great. Couldn't get internet even after notifying front desk twice. Had to pay for coffee a d breakfast if we wanted it.

They were clearly renovating while we were there, which was fine until 5 am when an alarm went off. Not sure if it was in our room, or the building. It sounded like a fire alarm. Then room service came knocking around 8:30. Normally that would’ve been maybe ok, but in light of the alarm waking us all, we weren’t up yet. It was frustrating.

The place was in a good location - very close to campus, which was a huge plus! The hotel itself was not up to the typical Courtyard standards. There were various stages of construction throughout, with peeling paint on the wall and dirty walls and baseboards. There was not breakfast available. The fitness center was good, except the AC wasn’t working and there were no fans. Overall, it was just okay - I guess I expected more because it was a Courtyard and I have never stayed in one that wasn’t very nice.

Same as my other review of this property. I booked through this app so I should not have to pay any fees or taxes. But the hotel still decided to take $20 off of my card and not return all of it. And charged me for parking. They charged me for parking when I didn't even park a car there. They didn't even warn that they would be charging for parking. They also charged me a restaurant tax. I never dined in the restaurant. This is flat out theft and an excusable. I was told by a person that works the front desk that this is their policy. And that everybody complains about it. But they just do it anyway. They just steal from every person that stays there anyway? That's their policy? If they aren't telling you about these fees ahead of time and they aren't getting permission to take it from you. It's theft. Plain and simple

I booked the room through this application. In this application it says that all fees and taxes are included. You're at the hotel they took $20 off of my card. And it kept $7 for taxes and fees. They charged me for parking which they never told me about. And they charged me a restaurant tax And I didn't use the restaurant. I also never parked a vehicle there. I was dropped off by someone I work with. So basically this hotel stole from me. They did it on both of my stays. And since I'm supposed to keep booking this property Because it's what my company wants me to use. I guess I can look forward to them stealing for me every time I stay there. The person working the front desk told me that every single person complains about these fees being added. That's a regular thing. And that it's just their policy. Their policy is to steal from you? I was contacted by a salesperson who said I would be refunded. I replied to them but I never heard from them again. Because I want to know if I'm going to be refunded for the second stay. And for every other stay. Or do I need to start booking somewhere else.

Staff was fantastic however there were issues with my room. Toilet had a dirty ring in it. Looked like it needed a good scrubbing with comet. When I pulled the bedspread back on both beds' sheets were wrinkled like they didn't change sheets. Desk chair had white stains. I asked for another room and they gave me one. Same issues with new room but desk chair was ok. And they charge for parking!!! I'd recommend the Hampden Inn next door.

Not a word
The check in clerk did not say one single word to me. When I arrived, he just looked at me until i told him my name. He then did not say a word during the transaction and handed me the card key, again without saying anything. The check out clerk was nicer and spoke to me. This is unusual, as i usually experience good customer service at this particular hotel and location.

The room was very clean, but the window was a mess. Could hardly see through it because of green mildew. The soap dispensers could have used some labels. Beds were very comfortable.

We arrived at the hotel late in the evening. We were told that the systems were down and we were unable to check in until approximately 30-40 minutes after we arrived. We finally got into our rooms at 10:30pm after many hours of driving. We were unable to shower the next morning due to the water being brown. The water stained the bottom of the tub. Also, we were unable to brush our teeth with the tap water because of the dirty water. When we arrived, there was noticeable water damage in the lobby and on our floor of the hotel. There was exposed pipes and wallpaper that had been ripped off to be replaced at some point. All the front desk offered was complimentary water bottles to wash our face and brush our teeth. We were not given any money back for this huge inconvenience, considering we had a special event to attend the morning that we checked out of the hotel. We have pictures and videos of the water conditions in the shower/tub. We were very dissatisfied with our stay.

While checking in on Tuesday, I noticed several blowers on the first floor. In addition, the ceiling appeared to be stained with water. The staff member assisting me shared that the sprinkler system was accidentally activated a few days prior to my arrival, which created water damage on each floor of the hotel. This also impacted the common area on the first floor, due to the positioning of blowers. During the second day of my stay the fire alarm in my room continued to periodically be activated, due to the system being tested. This lasted for several hours throughout the day. I completely understand that accidents will happen. However, as a courtesy, since I booked the room more than a week ago, I would have appreciated being informed of these issues by Marriott, before discovering them when checking in to the hotel.

It’s not really the staff’s fault Were there water poured into the building. Specifically, right outside our room door. When they worked to clean it up, they use large fans that kept me up most the night.
