Clean and modern hotel room in a shabby area
Room was very comfortable and spacious. It would have been good to have a television set-up that didn't require you to log in with accounts to basic channels such as ESPN or TNT. There were a number of weird and wonderful noises coming from the street during the night. The hotel is not in the flashest area of downtown however the hotel is clean, modern and safe. They should promote the public carparking facilities which are close by (50 metres around the corner) and reasonably priced. It would have been nice to have a safe in the room. The hotel is an easy 20-30 minute walk to Crypto.com Arena/L.A. Live and the walk is as safe as you will get downtown.

This is downtown LA for good or for bad. It is far from quiet, firetruck sirens at 4am will wake you, street noise will wake you, I would not recommend it for a single woman, BUT you will find 50 different places to have a drink each with a different atmosphere, only a block away. Extremely different places to have something to eat for all cost or taste on the same block. Apartments are spacious and well equipped. The gym is really nice. The terrace is fantastic. A great place to sit, have a beer and meet your neighbors. So depending on what you're looking for it could be perfect or not. So so

It's a great place to stay. The rooms are well appointed and renovated. The courtyard is a little haven. The systems around booking in and stowage of luggage are great albeit different.... location is good being downtown but getting dropped off or picked up from the entrance is problematic...

Location is very central DT , obviously comes with a DT noise level . Loved the space and design and the bedding . Cons are - overpriced, the power outlets are too far from actual bed, there is a TV but no cable channels, the check in process online seems too complicated and too intrusive. Overall , wouldn't book it again .

Excellent Hotel! Iffy Area
The hotel itself was excellent. I really enjoyed the stay. The location however, was iffy after sunset. Probably not the safest area to be lurking around at night. Also, parking is an additional $10-$25 a night depending on where you leave your vehicle.

Beautiful place to stay.
The room was beautiful, but the lights and creeping bathroom door were very annoying. The lights were not easy to operate and on motion mode. Every time we would move, the lights would come on. Wasn’t sure how to remove that mode. We slept on the sofa coach in the living room to be able to watch TV since there wasn’t one in the bedroom. The bathroom door creeks and needs oiling and T stove top was hard to figure out. Instructions to lights and stove would be nice. Double pane windows would be nice to keep out the street noise. Could hear sirens through the night.

The room was lovely. The bed was comfortable, the kitchenette was very helpful. But, the AC roared to the point that the first time it kicked on I wondered if a helicopter was landing outside. It is extremely noisy...113 decibels. Also, the neighborhood is a nightmare. The street that the hotel is actually on is completely closed, the jackhammer crew began at 7am every day of my stay, I heard gunshots 4 times, one of them hitting the building above my window as my SO was looking outside, the street plates covering the resurfacing are not secured so every time a vehicle drives over them it sounds like you're being bombed. Do not expect restful sleep if you stay here. Also, it's very important to know that THERE IS NO ON-SITE PARKING, so plan on adding at least $45 a day to your stay. Orbitz buried that bit of info deep in the description. I'd love to recommend this hotel, but I really can't. It's not worth the price.
