The room was disgusting. They had roaches. The area around the Hilltop Inn is dirty and filled with dirty needles etc. Im sure they still have bedbugs as well. Housekeeping told me if i seen any bed bugs call tje front desk and they would put me in a different room. Oh and no room phone. They didnt pay the phone bill.

The building is in serious disrepair. The broken elevator has bags of plaster stored in front of the doors in the hallway. Rough barracades of plywood and orange cones in the stairways. Dangerous semi-permanent resident approaches me immediately for cash and cigarettes. One resident/guest knocked on my door at 11:30pm to "talk". Parking garage closed. Sticky room floor. Stained towels. Mold in the bathroom. Only the wall switch light and bathroom light worked. Dresser missing all the knobs and drawer pulls. Uneven floor made the dresser drawers slide open by themselves every hour or two so you run your shins into the. Spotlights facing the building so when you look out the peephole you are blinded by light and can't see who is knocking. Broken TV. Remote encrusted with food and dirt. Chipped paint on doors. Bedspread smelled like men's deoderant. I was seriously nervous for my safety and for the stability of the entire structure. Manager apprached me to ask why i was taking two pictures. The ONLY good thing was there were no bugs. By checkout time i had a full allergic reaction to the mold.
