Make sure you stay in the hotel not the annex
We thought we booked a room in the hotel and we were put in an annex of the hotel, an apartment. It was up one flight of stairs up and his was difficult for my mom. The apartment was spacious but it was old and not updated. It did not feel very clean. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was very good. If you stay there make sure you are in the hotel or you will be extremely disappointed.

Not what expected
I’m not sure what to do on this review. We booked what we thought was a standard hotel room suite to sleep 4 but were surprised on checkin to learned that we’d been put in an apartment 2 blocks away from the hotel. Long walk over cobblestone streets ! The apartment was spacious and clean but very inconvenient if you wanted to have access to hotel amenities. We ended up skipping hotel breakfasts and never really saw the restaurant or terrace of the main hotel, which had been a selling points. The bathroom shower was tricky to use and we ended with some floor puddles. The building that the apartment was in appeared to house a number of private local residents. It was attractive at entry but the elevator area seemed unfinished and a little isolated with unreliable lighting. The staff from the main hotel were helpful enough when needed, especially in keeping our luggage for many hours at the end of our stay, but the location made it impossible to Engage them for minor questions, etc. The apartment location was convenient to attractions but not as good/ nice as the hotel itself. But we got good croissants at a coffee shop next door. If you are looking for a normal hotel experience, do not book a suite at this hotel. It is really a far away, isolated apartment which is not what we’d expected. If you want a spacious apartment setting, his is fine.

Mozart would like this hotel!
Charming, comfortable hotel with friendly staff and good breakfast. Good location, easy walk to shops, a pharmacy, restaurants. Nice rooftop bar with light food available.

Wonderful hotel and in a great neighborhood... walkable to all the major "Rome" things anyone would want to see & the major shopping district right off the "Corso" esp if only staying 2 nights. The breakfast was GREAT and the Roof Top Restaurant was good (little unorganized since their menu changed that day + they only had one person waiting all the tables... but the food was good) & fabulous view. The front desk was very helpful arranged for our car to the airport..... and made sure we had our "To Go Bag" of breakfast for our early flight backhome. Oh.... & we had a surprise when we got there... not only did they let us have our room before checkin time... they gave us a free upgrade to a "superior" room. We would definately recommed this hotel to anyone staying in Rome, esp if for short stay like us.

Great location and pretty rooftop terrace
The Mozart is in a perfect location to visit the local attractions such as Spanish steps, Trevi Fountain, cathedrals, shopping and eating. It’s a 5 minute walk to the Metro which links to the train station in Rome. When we first arrived we were allocated a room in their sister hotel down the road (more of an apartment block than a hotel) we were told it was an upgrade to a more modern room which I didn’t think it was an upgrade at all. I was not happy as I wanted to be in the hotel so we returned to the Mozart saying we wasn’t happy with the room. The woman on the front desk took a little persuading before she gave us a room in the Mozart which was perfect. The hotel has a good breakfast, a bar and a pretty rooftop terrace. I would recommend the Mozart hotel.
