Very Good. Visited Milano, particularly La Scala & the Duomo, for the first time and Hotel was very convenient to the Train station.

This is an older hotel which was quite interesting. The desk staff were not particularly welcoming and didn’t offer us any information unless we asked like what time breakfast is served. The desk staff gave us our key to the room when our room wasn’t even ready. The rest of the hotel staff was kind and friendly.

Good experience
Nice facility Old but clean and very roomy rooms Only issue was not having iron in the room and had to go to the basement to use it with a watchman looking over (as if i am going to steal it and run away 😒) Very near to the metro No mosquitoes spotted which was nice after getting attacked by them throughout the city Wish i knew Milan is known for having swarms of them esp at the evening Plenty of things to do and eat around the area Central station, which is equivalent to NY Grand Central, 5 min walk from the hotel Took shuttle to airport from there too, which costed $10 per person rather than a $160 cab (to MXP) Overall good experience

Everything was great except construction workers started Jack hammering in the suite next to ours at 7:00 in the morning.

Would not stay again
Paid $150 for a single room that couldn't have fit a double bed in it and the WiFi only worked in the lobby. That being said, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was quite good. However I feel like I overpaid and would not stay at this hotel again.

Faded Glory
This hotel grew on me. We stayed for one night as we needed to be close to the train station for an early morning departure. The surrounding area was not as seedy as folks gave mentioned. This hotel had glimpses of its former glory but of late seemed unloved and a bit neglected. There was definitely a hey-day where this property was swanky. The marble facade, the lobby, the carpeting, the rooms... but now everything seems worn and sad. The lobby was depressing and dark. The room needed a refresh, but was clean. The front desk service depended on who was there—some staff were far more friendly than others. I don’t think many people were even staying here despite it being a 2 minute walk to Milano Centrale. It really is not a bad place—would stay a night here again.
