Very good
Lovely, old-Tunisia feel to the place, with very friendly staff - so much nicer than the city's more modern hotels. But they need to improve wifi - very weak in some rooms Breakfast buffet v nice, but coffee was awful stuff from a machine - outrageous in a county where so much good coffee available.

One of the best
I arranged the stay at Tunisia Palace for 15 guests. Although we had some issues with the booking the hotel staff was very keen to solve the problems quickly, all the staff was very nice. The service was good, the breakfast as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you travel for business but for touristic purposes as well. It is extremely well positions - right on the main shopping street and close to the Medina. We visited many hotels as our guests stayed all other Tunis, and this hotel was definitely one of the best - if you take into count both quality of stay and location.

Fair
I would not stay here again
Great service and very friendly staff in the restaurant, and the bellmen. But the front desk needs a lot of help. No maps or info about anything touristy unfortunately. Also no chain lock on inside of room door. 1st room we got we walked in on someone staying in that room and then were afraid that would happen to us. We didn’t feel safe. Terrible view of a wall. Dirty sheets... lots of small black hairs on both my sheets. Asked for extra towels because they only give you one each and us girls wanted an extra one each for our hair... head of housekeeping would not give it to us. Housekeeper cleaning the rooms was lovely though, very sweet. Also we were headed out at 7 and the crepe omelette machine was only warmed up then, even though they’d been open for 1/2 hour. Things to consider. No clock or hot water in the room and good lock figuring that safe out

Poor
Avoid staying at Tunisia Palace Hotel
While the hotel is well located, sadly the hotel, its interiors, linen, upholstery, toiletries and its overall service standards are pathetic. The front office, housekeeping, restaurant and security staff lack English language and more importantly customer service skills. The air conditioning was not working and the reason given was that it was centrally operated and would be started in 2-3 weeks time. The internet quality was poor. The breakfast spread was meager and repetitive. I would never go back to this hotel and would surely not recommend it to anyone.

Very good
Nice old style decor. Most staff are friendly and a couple are not. Pillowcases were not changed when I checked into the room, I had to ask for new pillowcases. Otherwise, a comfortable and clean room. I did not enjoy the breakfast although the breakfast room was very pretty.
