Ruined my valentines day
Our bed was broken when we arrived to the room. When we told the front desk they said, no problem you can switch after dinner. Our dinner never happened. After waiting 30 mins for assistance I had to ask for a drink. They took our food order and then 2 hours later after watching everyone else receive their food we asked what was going on. Turns out they never put our order in. No problem, except they didn’t have the food we ordered anymore. They were out of a couple items actually. We left to go to our room and asked for a plate to heat up some left over vegetable, but we’re told “No. we don’t like giving plates out”. The front desk lady made us wait 15 mins before bringing us to the new room, which had hair clumps in the shower and rust running down the back of the door. At this point we didn’t care. We were starving and tired. When we checked out the manager gave ZERO concern about what happened to us. Told us we broke the bed bc “I check each room before people are checked in”, and offered no compensation. We also didn’t get our sparkling wine we were supposed to get for being a prefers hotels.com member.
