Overall, our stay was good, but the price doesn’t really match the facilities or room quality - it felt more like an average hotel you might find elsewhere. The staff at reception weren’t particularly welcoming, which stood out given the hotel’s high price and rating. In the room, we could hear noise from outside, something that sounded like a hand dryer, as well as from neighboring rooms, so the soundproofing wasn’t great. There was also a door near our room that made a loud noise every time someone used it. The carpet wasn’t very clean either, not because it wasn’t cleaned properly, but there were some noticeable stains that seemed to be permanent. The location is excellent - just a minute away from Eyre Square and the train station. The city itself is lovely.
