Lovely hotel, located halfway between Lago station from MXP and Giovanni station en route to Lugano. 2 nights here, very clean and comfortable, staff friendly. Well located to find restaurants and explore Como. Sadly it rained the whole time, but would return it sun was guaranteed! Wonderful coffee shop below hotel for great coffee and cakes!

Compared to rooms in Paris and Geneva, the Albergo Firenze was a nice size room and comfortable. In spite of being in the center of town and on a weekend, our room was quiet since it was in the back of the hotel. Enjoyed the stay here and the location was convenient to the station and to the cove of Como.

Great location above a nice piazza. Easy walking to major sites. The Juliet balcony overlooking the square was a surprise bonus. Closing the balcony door blocks the din from the restaurants below. Breakfast options were superb.
