Excellent staff and service!
3-night trip

10/10

Great service, super quiet room, comfortable king bed, nice bathroom amenities, great breakfast included. Location is close to the airport but also conveniently located near the historic center. Highly recommend!

This is a great hotel in a very good location. The rooms are large and very quiet. There is a beautiful pool. The included breakfast was very good. WiFi is a little inconsistent as was the hot water for the shower but overall we had a great stay and I would definitely stay again.

We came from New York and stayed for three nights. We loved everything about our stay: the cute swimming pool located in the sun, the charming suite, the friendly and welcoming staff, and the location. Thank you! We’ll be back!

Private plunge pool. All things combined lead to a pleasant three week stay.

Great peaceful place.
4-night trip

10/10

Beautiful hotel, staff was very friendly and the pool in the room was the highlight of our trip. The hotel is a bit far from Plaza Central (about 20 min walk), just to keep in mind. Rooms are spacious and bed was comfortable. Breakfast were basic and small portion but Plaza de Santiago is just 2 blocks from the hotel with the best tacos/tortas of cochinita and lechón great for breakfast. It's a must!

The rooms are quite spacious, which is nice. The hotel makes an effort for clients and accommodates requests for extra blankets etc. Convenient fifteen minute walk from Merida Centro. A few downsides: despite the netting on the windows, our room was full of mosquitos. The pool was also full of dead insects. Breakfast is mediocre. Finally, sound travels easily between the rooms.

I like the hotel, is clean and have a lot space the rooms, but the breakfast is poor.
5-night trip

10/10

A lovely boutique hotel with wonderful staff and lush greenery surrounding a pool that is built for short laps and cooling off. The rooms are spacious, some with their own plunge pools and comfy couches on which to lounge. The in-house massage therapists are an extra bonus. The hotel is conveniently located in a quieter part of Merida but close enough to the center of town, a 20-minute walk away. The Marcado Santiago is but 5 minutes away on foot and offers authentic local fare along with a living gallery of community activities such as dance and celeb

The hotel was clean and well equipped. The staff was very friendly. The included breakfast was also okay - nothing special, but everything you needed. We would definitively come back!
3-night trip

8/10

They had a large updated TV and we were able to hook up our Fire stick to get US Utube and our Prime Video programing. The room was very private and breakfast was included and very convenient. The bathroom was large and plenty of counter space. The patio was attractive with a small pool but they might provide outdoor seats. Bring a small power strip with you because outlets are limited as they are in most older Mexican hotels. The staff was helpful and attentive.

About an hour's drive from the beaches of the Gulf, and nearby cenotes. A perfect hideaway from winter's wrath. Breakfast is good too.

Everyone was very helpful and kind.
4-night trip

10/10

kind of a hidden gem. stylish design, lots of plants and comfortable. you’re about 15-20 minutes🚶from everything—which is a lot in merida’s punishing climate— but that distance keeps things quiet at night. a trade-off i’m good with.
2-night trip

Very short but good. Would go back for a longer stay.

Breakfast is so so at best. Good luck if you are vegetarian or vegan. They seem understaff in the restaurant, it was slower and the cook was also waitress!
1-night trip

10/10

We returned to this small and welcoming hotel and it felt like coming home. Not ultra fancy but stylishly decorated with a lot of tasteful wood accents. Really very nice and well located, close to the Santiago Park and very walkable to the main plaza and other parks. Staff very friendly. Many rooms have a little dipping pool and there is a mid sized central one on the grounds which we've always had to ourselves. The restaurant is small but pleasant and the lobby counter extends into a small bar where they'll serve you a drink. TV, safe, coffee service, all fine. Only things I'll mention are no fridge (seems common) and the pathway to rooms is sort of like railway ties, not sure how easily a wheelchair navigates the path.

The style is amazing.. real Yucatan construction with modern design and amazing rooms with private patio jacuzzi
3-night trip

10/10

Hotel Unknown is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The rooms are huge, incredibly clean, and come with a separate living area. The "Standard Room" should be called the "Standard Suite." It comes with a small private garden. The room comes with solid furniture. Honestly, it's better than the pictures and rivals what I've seen in four and five star luxury hotels. The staff are very friendly and helpful and give you plenty of privacy. It's in a quiet, artsy, safe neighborhood close to the central area. There are some great cafes and restaurants very close by. The hotel allows pets. If that bothers you, you might want to ask them to put you in a room away from the lobby. The breakfast consists of a small fruit plate, eggs, and tortillas. We loved the place and can't wait to go back. If you like small boutique hotels, this place is *perfect*.

Pleasant small hotel, well maintained with friendly staff. We ate at the restaurant one evening and it really delivered on the local specialties. The immediate area of the hotel is quiet and residential but you are a few quick blocks from Santiago park, which had food, dancing, great desserts etc

2-night trip

10/10

The hotel is beautiful and we recommended specially for couples. Is quiet and cozy, very romantic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Do not be put off by the exterior of the street, once you are inside is very nice. Our room had its own private pool and it was really nice. The only possible downside is that is about a 15 minute walk from downtown or a 8 dollar UBER ride. We chose to walk and it was not bad at all. About two blocks from the hotel is the Mercado de Santiago where you can find good food at very affordable prices.
