Great Overnight Stay!
We had a great overnight stay in this hotel. The bed was super comfortable, the hot breakfast was great and the good location made for a quiet nights rest. Powell River is a lovely small city!

Perfect location, cute, and clean
This hotel is the absolute perfect location for Vancouver. Everywhere we wanted to go was only about a 10-minute walk and if not, the sky train station was a 5-minute walk away. We had a room with a shared bathroom which was modern and always really clean. There were plenty of bathrooms on each floor so we never ran into any problems with having to wait for one. And our room had a sink so it wasn't that often that we even needed to use the shared bathroom. The room was small but comfortable, and very clean as well. My only thing would be that the building is old so the walls are quite thin and it can get noisy if you're unlucky with your neighbours, but we had no problem with this at all during our stay! The breakfast was pretty good as well, the croissants especially. Overall I'd definitely recommend it. Hotels are never cheap in downtown Vancouver but I'd consider this one a great deal compared to others.

Everything about the hotel was great except for the thin walls which allowed me to hear the very loud and very vocal sex coming from my neighbors waking me up at 5:30 in the morning.

Excellent experience
The staffs are so helpful! The interior design is to he best I've ever seen in recent years. The hotel is supper clean. And I love the breakfast they offer. The only drawback is stairs, but they will bring your bags to your room.

There was a fight at 3am and the two guys that were fighting almost knocked our door down with how hard they hit it, waking my partner and I up with such a fright, and I couldn’t get back to sleep after. No one reached out to anyone on our floor and asked if we were okay afterwards and then we got to listen to the cleaning crew outside our door for the next hour. Secondly, they have a very limited amount of parking spots which come at an additional fee. So my partner and I had to park at the East Park a few blocks away. Although it is significantly cheaper ($13 a day vs $20 at the hotel), it’s hard to trust that area of Vancouver to be safe. Overall, nice hotel with cool history, mediocre everything else.
