Take the Trans Canada Highway heading west towards Field and Golden, BC. The turnoff to Emerald Lake Lodge is located 1 kilometer west of Field, BC. Follow the road for 8 kilometers until a sign that says 'Overnight Guest Parking.' Turn left into the parking lot. In the parking lot is a cabin. Use the telephone in the cabin to call the front desk. A shuttle will be sent to pick up guests.

The Location is amazing. Everywhere on the property has an amazing view of the mountains and the lake. The cabin had wonderful views and a wood fire place. The bed and furniture could use updating but overall a rustic experience.

Amazing Location
Location is amazing. The view of the mountains and the lake from anywhere on the property is wonderful. it is very rustic which is cool but much of the furniture is worn. The cushions on the chairs, couches and beds in the cabin and the main lodge were worn. The staff is very friendly.

Beautiful Place
Emerald Lake Lodge was a beautiful place to stay. Being surrounded by the mountains enhances the experience. I was not expecting there to be no cell service, but there was wifi in a few spots. The room was comfortable. The fireplace was a lovely place to sit in front of to drink the Canadian Berry Tea that was in the room! There are also a lot of hiking trails to check out.

Rooms outdated and room heavy smoke smell. Room given not what we booked. Long distance walk to room with our luggage and our young kids in rain. No assistance offered. Lots of keen staff yet clearly no leadership or proactive duty managers.

Stunning getaway in the mountains!!!
The Emerald Lake Lodge was incredible! The check in was amazing. You drive up to the overnight parking, a valet shuttle was waiting there to load our luggage (and dog)! We driven up to the main lodge, rustic and absolutely magnificent. The main lodge has an amazing bar, lounge and resturant. We ordered food to take out & were able to wait upstairs in a huge seating area with pool table with our dog. We got driven to our guest house by a side by side or you can walk the path. The suite was so cute with a coblestone fireplace and stunning view of Emerald lake. The snow was almost a meter high on the rooftops, the Stellar Jays were waiting in the trees to say the morning. If you want a stunning trip to an enchanted forrest, this is a must stay!!! Shout out to Seth and Tony, such friendly welcoming staff!!
