Lovely hotel however the buffet was a little below 5*, as were the staff clearing tables to empty plates that birds were eating off!
Nice private beach. Service in the bars and restaurants was variable. Sometimes excellent, more often slow, and occasionally overwhelmed by guest numbers. Although well maintained, the property had the feel of somewhere that needed a touch more tlc.
Nice pool, shared with kids, but no pool bar l This hotel needs renovation. Choice if restaurants limited other than buffet.
Great hotel, practical rooms, helpful staff
It was better than I expected, I like it and I would recommend it to everyone
We are from Mumbai and recently stayed for a week. (Early sep19). The proprty has most of the tick marks and I shortlisted after a lot of research. Its on flic en flak beach on the west coast. Clean beach and a good boathouse for all the key water sports. Nice rooms with views, wonderful garden area, pool area, and choice of 5 restaurants. The breakfast menu is quite varied and good. Would like to thank and mention Pravin at the breakfast restaurant for making us feel at home during the entire stay and Yash for helping organise the city tours . Great job both of you . Overall a great stay and would love to come back again !
the food menu could be improved and add more local dishes but they do go the extra length to serve to your taste if you request a meal
Well the room is rather outdated the curtains had holes in them not just one a few when the sun shines on it the toilet cistern was continuously running anytime you flush it you have to lift the handle back up the room not cleaned properly sockets not working Breakfast was very poor bacon and sausages cooked the night before I saw it I went down for breakfast at 06:45 am the bacon was in a huge pile so was the sausages when I asked for it that’s when they try to heat it up for me on the grill plate Well I don’t want to carry on but everything was bad staff the lot oh they actually sent someone else’s laundry to my room 😂😂😂😂
Overall very happy with our stay at this hotel and i would recommend it....reasons why i have not given it full 5* -Update electrics. Some sockets did not work. Advertise the great free boat house activities better. Provide a free shuttle bus into flic en flac or casevilla shopping mall. Buffet restaurant prices need to be lowered. Our total for taxi+dinner was less than the total at hotel restaurant. Advise: always negotiate taxi/tour prices Drop to 25-30% of asking price
Beautiful setting. Staff not always particularly friendly. Didn’t always get tea & coffee in the room replenished. The beach is stunning. Wine is stupidly over priced.
