We enjoyed every moment at the Mondrian. We extended our stay for an extra night. The indoor and outdoor pool was spectacular. Cleo is an extraordinary restaurant. Every meal was delicious. We can’t wait to return.

Mixed Feelings
So I will say the service was great, they were super duper, nice. But my room was extremely hot and I could not the temperature of the room to come down. When I arrived at check in, I was starving. Every restaurant inside of the hotel closes from 2pm-5pm. So I had to walk to find food. The location is a short walk from everything that's happening, so that was a positive. And it would have been nice to know that the spa is completely separate from the hotel. You cannot make or cancel reservations through the hotel. The sauna facilities we're overrated. Overall, I probably would not stay at this location again. Of note because they are tagged luxury hotel. They expect you to pay 19,000 won for a beer, that can be found at the CU. The breakfast buffet in the morning was actually pretty good. The rooftop lounge and all the other lounges in the hotel, are just ok. If you just want to blow some money please stay here.

We had a very nice 2 night stay. This was my second time staying at the Mondrian Seoul Itaewon. The hotel has a great design, great staff and very good service. The food at breakfast was delicious. We also enjoyed drinks and cake at the lobby bar.

Mondrian is an excellent hotel. My only complaint - but a significant one - is that it is hot everywhere - including in rooms. A/C cools only to about 25C/77F. I was sweaty and sticky the entire time I was there. I probably will not stay there again.

Property was clean enough, there are some areas that need improvement. For duration of my 9 day stay, housekeeping didn’t empty the bin in my washroom a few times, My room floor wasn't swept/cleaned, still found bits of tags/paper on the floor. My bathroom had a leaky issue which was fixed rather quickly, I was given a drinks voucher which I appreciated at the time. When it came time to use it, it was pretty restrictive. Very good restaurants options in the restaurant and nearby Itaewon area. Two bus stops within 1-5 mins walk of the hotel. A station is about 15mins walk as well. Concierge/Reception were always quick to help whenever I needed assistance. On the whole, I believe 4 stars is an appropriate rating.

The staff is friendly. I did not get free upgrade as gold member of Expedia. The room toilet has no bidet or washlet like other 5 star hotel I stayed in Korea. The elevator took unusual long time to come, a lot of times the elevator is so crowded. Very uncomfortable and Very inconvenient.

A fantastic stay in such a gorgeous hotel. The location is perfect for those who are able to walk 10 minutes to the nearest metro but also appreciate being a little bit further from the noise and excitement of Itaewon main street. The service from the reception and staff at the front of the hotel was excellent. The standard of the housekeeping and cleaning was also impressive. The facilities, although we didn’t use them to our advantage, are very impressive and clean. The rooms were much more spacious than anticipated, especially after reading reviews for this hotel and others similar in the area. We had such a fantastic stay here and would not hesitate to book again on return.
