    Worst place ever. Be warned.

Horrible. Felt like a crappy grade school camp cabin. Air conditioning did not work. Hair dryer did not work. Swimming pool emptied of water and dirty. Broken tacky tiny fire pit which was advertised as a draw to the property. Would never book here again.

Rooms and furniture are old and outdated, AC in main room did not cool room, Back room did not have AC at all. Pool was closed during the entire stay. For the price we paid this room should have been a lot nicer

    Comfy Room, Communication Trouble

The room was pretty good for the price, lots of space, a table with two chairs and a bathroom. Small coffee pot, mini fridge, and a microwave as well as cable tv and free wifi that worked well. The bed was VERY soft, a little too soft in my opinion. But the room was clean and smelled clean, they made the bed everyday. There was no ice despite the ice bucket in the room, I think it was too early in the season for them(Mid May). Friendly folks in person and check in was easy, office open til 9 PM. Our only problem was before arrival. The hotels.com listing doesn't specify which rooms have kitchenettes, so I had emailed the hotel through the website. They replied eventually and said I would need to pay $20 more per night to get the kitchenette. I said I was interested and asked how to pay for it. They never replied, so as it got closer to the trip I called the hotel and once I could get ahold of someone they were pretty rude and said it would be $30 extra per night. They argued about what I had paid per night. My hotels receipt said $71 per night, but the hotel insisted I only $50 and would need to pay $30 more to upgrade. They also acted like they had no idea who would have talked to me through hotels.com despite the message being signed Acadia Pines and me having to wait 2 mos for their reply when they opened in May. Needless to say, I did not upgrade or pay any additional money. I just kept the regular room and went without the kitchenette. Kitchenette is on $89+ rooms btw.

It was fine-- price was right, place was clean and quiet, check in and out was simple. With so much to do outdoors, we were looking for just that in a place to rest between adventures.

Decent spot for a quick overnight sleep. Rooms aren’t large and you get only 2 pillows!

Our First and last stay at Acadia Pines Motel.

I did not expect any frills, but when we arrived we found a door that we had to force open to enter or leave the room; a lamp shade falling apart; a refrigerator that rattled loudly every 20 minutes, or so through the night; and, at best, lukewarm water issuing from the hot water faucet. There was no air of freshness to the room, just the feel and appearance of a very tired establishment. I was not expecting anything fancy and what we found failed to rise to the level of plain.
