Needs an updated a/c system.
The hotel is clean and nice. The staff are all very pleasant. My only complaint was the a/c system was turned to "neutral air" during November, and so only warm air blew out. They suggested opening the windows, which i did, but it did not help (they only open 3 inches). So the first night i requested a fan. Slept okay. The second night it was even warmer and so i asked for a second fan. It was not enjoyable to have to make so many adjustments to get my room comfortable. There are also no convenient plugs at night stands. You have to reach behind it with quite some effort to plug anything in.

The staff, to a person, were friendly, helpful and attentive. The bed was comfortable and the noise level was low. I just would say that the hotel is showing its age a bit. The sample products were hard to get out of the bottles and (whispering) the toilet paper couldn’t be thinner.

Would highly recommend staying here!
Great stay! Very large rooms that are well lit in prime NYC location. The price point was was excellent! The only downside was the room temperature. I found I was cold every night although trying to turn up the heating. It seemed the thermostat would not allow me to increase the temperature past 22 degrees C - keep it mind its fall. Thankfully I packed a cosy sweater and the room had extra blankets. The photo is a view from my window.

Excellent stay!
Arrived early in the rain and staff held our luggage and there was open access to the 26th floor lounge. Stayed in a Jr Suite with pull out couch. Perfect for three, very clean. Used the coffee maker, fridge, and dishwasher. Staff were all pleasant, Diana at the front desk was so friendly! Close to everything we wanted to see. Would definitely stay here again!
