Checking into Courtyard by Marriott at Manhattan/Midtown East was the first thing that went right in a whole lot of wrongs.
Our 3 hour train ride got delayed by 5.5 hours (luckily, we were put us on another train after 3 hours.) Unfortunately, this ended up with me missing my Broadway show, which was the whole reason for the trip.
It was a long process until we finally got to the hotel, but once we did, everything started flowing so smoothly.
Everyone at the desk is INCREDIBLY friendly, like they go out of their way just to be kind people. I’m a girl in my mid-twenties, so sometimes kindness in stressful situations is truly all I need.
The room was absolutely lovely and perfectly clean. Everything was updated and well-kept. We couldn’t have asked for better!
When we went to checkout, the people at the front desk were more than happy to help us store our luggage for a couple hours as our train wasn’t coming for a few hours after check-out.
When we went to pick our luggage back up, a woman at the front desk asked if we would like to use the restrooms first. I seriously cannot explain to you how much I appreciate this! We don’t know the city well & it’s hard to find bathrooms sometimes + we were 20k steps in & exhausted.
The hospitality was absolutely incredible—the team is full of amazing people who went out of their way to make our trip that much more comfortable.
I will recommend this hotel to everyone & stay here when I come back to NYC.
