Toilet woes!
Toilet In room never worked properly. When we approached the desk about this issue, nobody seemed to really care and ultimately told that this how some of toilets in the hotel function. At checkout we were told to contact Director Human Resources about our issues, which we did, the end result was that we were told there was never a problem, and told again this is how some of the rooms plumbing works. This hotel’s customer service was as poor as their plumbing.

Great location
We stayed here on our honeymoon, our second time in Rome. The location is great, quick walk to everything touristy as well as wonderful local trattorias. The hotel itself is quite small, but realize how old it is! We had a very cute balcony space to ourself, perfect for a glass of wine.

Excellent location and perfect weekend hotel
Excellent friendly staff. Very accomodating room. We had the terrace which was great for an evening relaxation before heading out again. Staff provided excellent no hassle info for our room trip, a map highlighting places and a phond to use for our stay. Fresh and plentiful breakfast and a small stocked mini bar.

The hotel looked beautiful and cozy online. The city was terribly filthy, so was the street this hotel was on. The rooms are hot - even with the air conditioner. The shower goes from extremely hot to extremely cold while showering. If you want to have an early coffee, forget it. The dining doesn't open til 7. I had the best room one could have. It was a box with 4 walls. There's no outside sitting area. Staff aren't particularly helpful. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Well situated hotel with friendly staff.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect, close to everything (really just a 15 minute walk to most attractions). The cell phone they let you use and take out during your stay is a great amenity, it was very handy having a cell that could get google maps, the internet, and make local/long distance phone calls for free! Breakfast was excellent. Rooms are small to American standards but you’re in Europe and they have everything you need.
