Nice size rooms, though just a little tired-looking. Nothing major needed, just a little tlc. Staff were all lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Good facilities and a great location. Quiet, clean and felt safe going to and from. A short walk from everything mid/uptown. Very glad we booked.

The hotel is in a great location, at 1st Avenue and 49th Street. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the metro, but very close to two bus stops, so getting around by public transportation was easy. We had a room with a separate kitchen and bedroom. It was clean when we arrived, though there was some dust buildup in less obvious spots, like under the bed and in the air vents. Housekeeping is only provided once a week, but you can get fresh towels at the front desk if needed. The bathroom doesn’t have ventilation, but it somehow stays dry. The apartment could benefit from some wall art or decorations to improve the overall atmosphere. We had a great time exploring New York, and felt that the hotel was just what we needed — not the most expensive, not the cheapest. Great location, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Plus, there’s a rooftop bar (Ophelia) with an amazing view, perfect for a drink before bed

We did a two night stay in a queen bed apartment and both loved it!! We had a living room, kitchen with toaster, microwave, coffee maker, and fridge!! Everything was really great!! The check in process was quick and simple! The hotel also had an area for you to make your own complimentary tea, coffee, or hot chocolate and their gym was nice too. I’ll definitely stay here again!!

The Beekman Tower more than fulfilled expectations. Our suite was spacious, the kitchen appliances more than adequate, the 1 1/2 bathrooms a luxury. For a building nearly 100 years old, it is in very good shape. Particularly useful was the laundry room and the coffee machine. The neighborhood, in the vicinity of the UN, is particularly safe. Best of all was the desk staff which was among the friendliest that we have ever experienced in our many years of travel.

We were impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of our apartment at the Beekman. The bathtub was particularly wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast. The bar on the top floor offers spectacular 360 degree views. Highly recommended!

We stayed four nights here. Although we have contacted the receptionists three consecutive days about giving us new towels, the receptionists answered the same: “ Sorry, we’ve run out of towels”. We ended up buying our own towels from a store. The plastic hooks in the bathroom are too weak to hold a bath-towel so we had to create some damp towel hangers with something else. Bathroom furniture seems to fall off any second. Bed is quite small. Areas under the bed and the floor covered in the whole apartment are not clean. TV channel choices are poor. Plus the loud noise from the heater/air-con is unbearable. The kitchen is ok.

Fantastic well appointed apartments and updated amenities with full kitchen, good quality beds, nice gym, small but convenient business center and super friendly staff (every single front desk employee both daytime and evening are welcoming and helpful). Only one negative is laundry room, although very convenient, machines and overall laundry could use an upgrade. In general the hotel is quiet despite the busy rooftop restaurant.

Came with my sister and daughter. Chose this location cause near nephew’s apartment. He had just relocated cross country. Have everything we needed to stay comfortable for a long weekend. This is a really lovely place to stay, it’s just slightly away from all the hustle and bustle of the centre yet close enough to easily walk to the centre and the park. The staff were lovely, they had a very laid back attitude to the residents which was nice as it made you feel relaxed and at home. They would go out of their way to help you in any way. I cannot fault the place, the apartment was fully equipped making it so easy to cook ‘at home’. I would definitely stay there again!
