Good place to stay
Excellent stay. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, with good coffee. Location close to Festival Theatre, Rundle Mall shopping precinct, Museum and Art Gallery. Comfortable rooms with air conditioner that could be adjusted to suit personal requirements. Will stay again and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to family and friends when they need to stay in Adelaide

Great location and service.
Great location and service Disappointing they don’t have parking included. For the price with parking included I could have stayed somewhere else with parking included.

Good 6,0
Clean room, good service. Appalling prices.
With the amount of blatant extortionate prices they would charge for things, or add on top of things. I felt like I was staying in a cheap hotel that makes their money by charging for absolutely everything. You’d think a five star hotel would have certain things included in the price. You want to watch a movie in your room?! $18.99 for a new release, when the same movie costs $6 on google play. You want to pay $20 for an already incredibly over priced, small desert from room service?! Add another $6 on top for “tray service”. I can’t deny the room was clean, service excellent and bed comfortable. But those blatant cash grabs left such a bad taste in my mouth.

Great old style hotel with all the perks
We had two rooms booked - and one was ready early but the other wasn't ready until well after 3pm, which was a little annoying. It is a great hotel with all the perks.

Intercontinental Adelaide - A Fading Star
We ate once in Riverside restaurant, (dinner). We arrived at 5.30pm. There were food scraps under the table all over the floor. The waitress was excellent as was the cocktail waiter. The food was dry and tasteless. I spend 150 nights a year in hotels and cannot remember more exhausted, underwhelming food, (in both conception and execution), with the possible exception of a hotel near San Jose Airport . The martini’s were outstanding however.
