We chose it b/c it was right across the street from Birmingham New Street train station - and have no regrets, since it was close to everything else. Had also dinner there, the food was good. The bedroom was comfortable and the staff was helpful. Nice experience overall.

Room was a decent size, but AC didn't seem to work properly and the fan in the room was broken. It wasn't unbearable but too noisy to open window and I imagine it would have been a nightmare earlier in the year. The shower was weirdly almost horizontal but worked ok. Bed was comfy enough. Quite a few TV channels didn't work. Top tip - book breakfast at the restaurant if dining alone as it's cheaper than booking online. Convenient for the station.
