This hotel is a hidden gem. The staff is super friendly, and the room was extremely clean. I enjoy the boutique style of 4 rooms per floor. If you are looking for a huge room this place is not for you, but given the location, price and staff I would stay here anytime over some of the larger chain hotels.

The bed and pillows were really comfortable. The location is excellent. I would definitely stay here again. It's close to all the theaters, MoMA, and shopping but just outside of all the chaos of Times Square. Easy access to cabs and subway. Fresh fruit and good continental selection for breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at Wingate. The rooms were spotless, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the hospitality made us feel right at home. The complimentary breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and everything about our stay was comfortable and welcoming. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.
