The worst hotel I have ever known
The whole experience was a nightmare, when you travel to a new city in the middle of a festival in which all hotels are booked, the only security you have is that you previously booked a room with a credit card as a safety protocol. Since we arrived earlier, we went to have some breakfast, during this time, one of the managers called and told us that our room was not available anymore since he wanted a 50% of the payment done previously by deposit, even though we had booked with hotels.com and had given our credit card as part of the process. After half an hour of the manager telling us it was our fault because we didn't responded to his messages (non existing), he finally agreed to give us a room. Obviously we went directly to the hotel, when we arrived another employee told us that our room was the service room which was ugly, looked improvised, the access was through the kitchen or the garage, was dirty. This was not the room we had booked. When we saw the other rooms on the hotel, they were nothing like the room we were. We spoke with the manager but he treated us very poorly. Finally we were lucky to find a room at a Holiday Inn Express so we left with a very sour and bad experience. Fortunately we were treated with respect at the Holiday Inn. With much experience of vacationing around the world, I can surely say that this was the worst hotel I've ever known. I don't recommend it and would say to anyone thinking of booking this hotel to be cautious.
