The hotel and hotel room was large, spacious and clean. Close to the town centre so walking to shops and restaurants was easy. Also close to the pompei archiological site. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. A great stay!

Property was lovely, the fridge didn’t work which was a shame but overall our stay was great. Bathroom could use a little update but it was fine and the shower worked well. Staff were warm, welcoming and friendly who were always happy to help and offer information about the area, transport, restaurants etc. Location is excellent It’s a 10-15 min walk to the historic site or the train station. Lots of tours available with meeting point a short walk away. Local restaurants a few minutes walk. The area felt very safe and I loved looking at the mountains surrounding us. I would stay at Hotel Pompei Be Green again. Thank you for a wonder stay.

The staff was extremely polite and helpful. Breakfast service was first rate. Within walking distance to Pompei ruins and many excellent dining and shopping opportunities. The rooms are very clean and air conditioned. A little difficult to find on a side street but this is a plus as it is in a quiet neighborhood but just a few hundred feet from the main drag.

We were changed last min because there was a water leak which can’t be repaired.. this was a 4* hotel. We were changed to a 3* hotel.. no WiFi unless you were standing directly under the rooter. Said several times. Eventually moved us.

Hidden gem. It was beautiful and close to main city centre without being to close to the noise. We took taxi from train to hotel and were taken for 30€ . It was 2 km drive. We could have taken the bus for much less. Walking distance to ruins. Note that my daughter did speak Italian and could understand comments made about our coffee choice.

Really great property. However we had an odd check-in experience. The hotel management tried to switch us to another inferior property in the city, when we arrived. We did have to stay in the other place for the first night. There was some excuse that they were having water problems at the original property. We also contacted Expedia to try and get relocated, that went nowhere! We called and complained, the hotel management and they switched us back to the original property we had booked, the next morning. Obviously no water problems as they were washing down front sidewalk when we arrived.

I liked the way the hotel looked from outside. Clean, modern and well documented. Common areas are pretty. Pleasant staff. I didn’t like the bathroom, old shower head, faded painted walls, the pressure of the showers is also poor. No complimentary water on a hot summer day. I booked for 2 people but was only given one set of towel. We arrived at past 9pm so no one in reception. Breakfast very basic. Overall ok, for the price we paid i guess.

After reading many reviews about the wonderful staff, first impression wasn’t the best (irritated when I pointed out we were placed in the wrong room and I asked to be changed, asked for a late check out and the man wasn’t very willing to help, etc.) On the positive, the hotel aesthetic is nice.

Would not ever stay or recommend this hotel
Very disappointed to be given an economy room when we paid for higher spec. Night 1 - shower didn’t work, walls were covered in Damp. Got moved to a better room, appeared ok then aircon didn’t work, had to sleep with open windows, being in the city the noise is very loud and stayed that way until really late, also having to have the window open for any air, also allowed us to get bitten loads by mosquitoes, when the aircon got fixed the hot water then didn’t work for final two days. Not to mention the rude 4.30am awakening by the fire alarm and bright emergency lighting in the room! Very disappointed with it all.
