We didn’t enjoy our experience at the Woods Hotel. We had issues with a smelly room to start, although once reported we were swapped immediately. However, the room we was given had dirty sheets and when we requested for the room to be made up, we returned to find the same dirty sheets, but the bed has been made. In our opinion, the restaurant next door seemed very lively and was good value for money. However, it seems that the management of the hotel spend all of their time and effort at the restaurant neglecting the hotel and its guests.
The reception area was regularly unattended with nobody available to speak to. You would ring the bell consistently wait for 1015 minutes and then just give up. We expressed disappointment to the hotel manager, but he was very this interested and almost laughed us off.
