but we didn't have time to go swimming so I don't know how it was or even what it looked like. Close to the HWY, unfortunately you have to exit onto Hwy 30 and make a U-turn if you want to go a different direction. Lots of Hwy construction EVERYWHERE! "

"We had a birthday sleepover for 13-year-olds here in May. Here is my honest review.
Cons:
Could not reserve connecting rooms and didn't get them (did at least get side by side).
Breakfast was meh. They didn't have a waffle maker, just the limp freezer waffles. They didn't even have salsa for the eggs (hello, this is Texas).
Pros:
There was a nice eating area where we were able to eat pizza for dinner.

My complaints was that the hotel room carpet could stand to be shampooed. Also, I missed getting my room cleaned and beds made. I stayed 4 days with no housekeeping...
