Hotel ignored my requests for a first floor room thus stranding us with nowhere to go. The manager refused to cancel the reservation, insisting that I need to call Expedia myself which we all know is impossible since they dont leave a number for customers to call. She has the ability to call but refused to do so.

No Wi-Fi. No transparency.
Wi-Fi is down for my one night I am here. Had to find out by calling the front desk. No apology from the front desk guy. I would have went to another hotel if I knew I wouldn’t have Wi-Fi. Something they should let you know when you’re checking in. And $144 after taxes is insane for a single bed room. Pecos is a dirty run down town. For these prices I was expecting it to be a nice area. After reading the reviews it seems the Wi-Fi hasn’t worked for months. False advertisement to say you have working Wi-Fi when you don’t. Update: at checkout I noticed the Wi-Fi works in the common areas but not in rooms. This is something the hotel knows about because the reviews show it’s an ongoing problem. They were not transparent about the Wi-Fi when I checked in, and nothing was done to make it right. The girl at checkout said her manager was away for a week so she couldn’t help me. Very disappointing. After driving for 10 hours I just want to relax with some internet but I couldn’t do that here. Blatant false advertisement
