My husband and I stayed here for a weekend while visiting Mammoth Caves. Cherie was an excellent host, the accommodations were excellent. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Walkable to all the restaurants in town and close to the caves. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area and highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay! The Sullivans

Such a fabulous place!
We couldn't have picked a better place for our first time at a Bed N Breakfast. Cherie's place, Main Street Bed N Breakfast was fabulous. Cherie was so friendly and hospitable. She made us feel very welcome, sharing her home with guests. Her breakfasts were delicious! The Greer room was very comfortable. Plenty of space. A great location, close to Mammoth caves, walking distance to downtown Glasgow. We will be back to stay with Cherie again!

Quaint last minute stay.
The house is from 1810 and absolutely gorgeous. The wood floors have loose boards, sure, but it’s so quaint and part of the charm. We were the only ones staying in the house that night, and our room was beautiful. The high ceilings with beams were especially charming. The upstairs was pretty warm, but our host took care of that promptly. The bathroom in the Dickinson Room was spacious, and the shower had plenty of hot water. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning! All in all, it was a lovely time.

Near a main road and occasional car with modified mufflers or trucks would make some noise. However it was quiet during sleep times. Otherwise everything else was really great so we would come back again.

I had never been to a B&B before and didn't know what to expect. Cherie is attentive and helpful. The property is a classic historical location. Our three person party was able to comfortably stay in the Dickinson room. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

This is the quintessential bed and breakfast. It’s a two hundred year old house with lots of charm. The owner is incredibly friendly, and the home cooked breakfast an absolute delight. It’s also within walking distance of downtown which has several restaurants. Stayed here with my wife and son while visiting Mammoth Cave and it was definitely worth it. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

So nice to stay the night in a beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable room that is not surrounded with sterile corporate hotel decor. We enjoyed our night here and the innkeeper, Cherie, was very welcoming. We didn't have time to stay for breakfast but Cherie fixed us coffee to-go. The only thing that might have improved our stay was a better selection of TV programming. Nothing better than settling into a comfy bed to watch TV and unwind from a long day of driving.

We had a wonderful stay. Make sure you stay here. It’s a charming place, wonderful hostess, comfortable bed, great breakfast, and all round just what you are looking for. If your driving up the interstate make sure to take the time to drive a few minutes. You will be greatly rewarded.

Main Street Bed and Breakfast is a Must!
The inn so very charming. You can sense its long history as soon as you enter. There is a spacious living room with a grand piano, in case anyone in your party has a flair, and a sunny dining room. The large kitchen would be the envy of any cook. Cherie, the owner and proprietor, was ever so friendly and gracious. I didn’t have a chance to experience the breakfast, since I was off too early to go hiking, but I imagine it would be as wonderful as everything else. I plan to go back and take my wife with me. If your plans are to see Mammoth Cave, or, like me, hike and kayak, this is a wonderful choice if you want to have a hideaway away from the crowds.

We were not sure about the bed and breakfast because we had never went to one. We found the experience very fun and interesting and the food was excellent! I would recommend this place to anyone who has that idea of what a bed and breakfast is. This place touches all those ideas you probably had. The room was plenty spacious enough for 2 adults and two teenagers.

A friendly place. A really fine breakfast. It met our needs to stay close to Edmonton, Ky. The innkeeper shared information about the historical center and we spent hours there doing research.
